Martin's Farmstand: Sweet onions and peppers
The steady warm weather along with abundant moisture makes the gardens grow! The broccoli patch continues to really make lots of broccoli which is what broccoli patches are supposed to do. Sweet onions are big enough that we are starting harvest them. Most of the other red and yellow storage onions are still several weeks out yet from harvest. Yesterday and this morning we are bringing in the main garlic harvest. It has grown well so there should be lots of garlic here throughout the fall months. We are still at the peak part of blueberry season and today we have the first wildcrafted blackberries at the stand. The eggplant and pepper family season has begun. They should normally be present at the farmstand over the next few months. No sweet corn today at the farmstand. Daniel

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!
PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m.
If you do not get an email ORDER CONFIRMATION after you finish the checkout process, then your order is NOT complete. Head back to the market page, and your order might still be there waiting for you to check out! If you have any trouble or questions at all, we are here to help; simply reply to this email.
Once you place an order, be on the lookout for the order reminder email on Wednesday with further pickup and payment notes. Thanks for your support!

Shop RCM this week for the best fresh and local foods! We have everything you need for an amazing cookout! Hamburger, steaks, brisket, and pork chops would all be great on your grill so you can keep your kitchen cool! Cucumbers are definitely in plentiful supply! How about a quick pickle for those burgers or just for a cool salty treat! Did you know squash can be pickled, too? But if that’s not your favorite, then how about fried squash or okra with your burger instead of french fries? Nothing beats a homegrown tomato… Get your favorite variety from Connor’s Garden and Sweets or Hoof Hollow Hobbies! Enjoy them while they are in season! Instead of lettuce you can top your hamburgers with Weisenfels Family Farm’s Salad Mix Microgreens and maybe some fresh peppers on the side from Pine Ridge Gardens or Lucky Star! Don’t forget the condiments like Piccalilli from Lucky Star and relish, BBQ sauces and flavor-infused vinegars from Meadowlark Valley! Make some cooling treats this week with fresh Kaffir Lime leaves from Pine Ridge gardens, fresh sweet Basil from Connor’s Garden and Treats or fresh Spearmint from Bluff Top! Let our Bakers do dessert so you don’t have to! Some Ice Cream from Meadowlark Valley sounds great paired with cake or cupcakes from Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats! Use your EBT card at RCM for the freshest foods for your family!
Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
REMINDER- We can no longer accept credit or debit cards. We will still be able to process cash, checks and SNAP/EBT transactions.
Check back frequently as our farmers regularly update what they have available. Multiple orders are encouraged. :)

Champaign, OH: Hold On!

Baby, don’t you think it’s worth your time…

Happy Thursday evening, market lovelies!
Just coming home after a lovely market pick up, (hot, but lovely), and I loved chatting with each of you!!
And, now, here I am putting this song implant into your head. Just a happy little tune. I actually had a hair appointment, earlier in the week, with my hair girl in Yellow Springs. I was her only customer, that afternoon, as she likes to book customers with plenty of time to just spend zenning out. Anyway, she picked a playlist of songs from that very late 80s to early 90s genre. This popped on, and we both started singing. They whole afternoon was just filled with silliness and music. It was a perfect couple of hours of escape.
Anyway…I thought it would be a fun opening song for the market ordering week!
Go ahead…turn it up, sing it, dance it…cause things will go your way…
And, this will be the last market before we close for the week of the Champaign County Fair!! Get all the goodness before the market takes a vacation.
I am putting all of my products, along with Hippie and the Farmer products, back on the market, now that I have a bit of breathing room from catering for a few weeks!
So, go ahead…get those orders in before you have to HOLD ON for a week of market vacation!!
I see that JC Growers just added their chem free spaghetti squash!!!
Ok…go ahead…start the party!
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
